Post Studio permissions
What connecting TikTok allows Post Studio to access, and how to disconnect your account.
Permission comes from TikTok authorization
Choose Connect TikTok in Accounts and review the permissions on TikTok’s authorization screen. You can cancel instead of granting access. This information page does not itself grant permission.
- Basic profile (user.info.basic): identify the connected account and display its profile information.
- Publish content (video.publish): send the photos or videos and publishing settings you approve to your TikTok account.
- Public videos (video.list): retrieve your public video list and available information used for account performance reporting.
Before publishing
Review the destination account, final content, visibility, interaction controls, and commercial disclosures. Publishing requires the relevant TikTok approvals and account eligibility. Connecting an account does not mean every publishing feature is available.
Disconnect and revoke access
In Post Studio, open Accounts and disconnect the TikTok account. The app removes stored connection credentials and attempts to revoke TikTok authorization. If revocation cannot be confirmed, remove Post Studio from connected-app permissions in TikTok’s settings as well. You can revoke access there independently at any time.
Disconnecting is separate from deletion
Existing workspace content and published posts are not deleted when you disconnect. Follow the data-deletion instructions to remove workspace information, and use TikTok to delete published posts.
